What are they?

The Codex ARRIRAW and ARRIRAW Plus Recorders are a compact, lightweight and affordable solution that set the standard for file-based workflows. ARRIRAW provides the best quality digital camera originals for motion pictures and high-end television drama and commercials.

What do they do?

The Codex ARRIRAW Recorder can record one channel of ARRIRAW up to 30fps – plus audio and metadata – onto a single, removable data pack.

The ARRIRAW PLUS Recorder can record two channels of ARRIRAW (ideal for stereoscopic) up to 30fps and allows the recording of ARRIRAW at frame rates up to 60fps.

Who are they for?

Anyone who wants to work fast, at the highest quality, using a weather-resistant unit, weighing just 2.5Kg/5.7lb, they are ideal for single or multi-camera production.

How do they work?

The ARRIRAW Recorders deliver immediate full-frame playback and review as video. Used with a Codex Media Station, they can deliver shots in multiple industry-standard formats – these can be generated on-the-fly for editing systems to use without importing.
